# Intersession
- This morning I felt God leading me to watch an hour long video on being an [[Pray|intercessor]]. As a result, I sent the following message to the [[Prophet]] group.
- This is a long message about being an intercessor. Normally, I don’t listen to messages this long. However, I felt God drawing me to it. [The Man Under The Stage by Eric Ludy](https://www.youtube.com/@sermonindex)
- What are your thoughts? In light of [[Ephesians_02|Ephesians 2.20]], how are prophets and intercessors related?
- In the message, Eric Ludy mentioned several passages related to being called as an Intercessor. These included:
- [[Isaiah_06|Isaiah 6.8]], [[Isaiah_59|Isaiah 59.14, 16]]
- [[Ezekiel_13|Ezekiel 13.5]], [[Ezekiel_22|Ezekiel 22.30]]
- Although the sermon was originally presented in 2011, the need for intercessors is needed more today than ever. As I was watching the video, I kept thinking about the lawlessness going on in the US now. One of the passages that came to mind is about the [[End-Times|end times]], [[Matthew_24|Matthew 24.12-13]]. The Greek word ([[G0458]]) for wickedness / lawlessness "anomia" means "utter disregard for God's [[Law]] (His [[Word]])
- The big take away for me is that as the end times approach there **WILL** be a multiplication of [[Wickedness]] / [[Lawlessness]]. As a result, many in the [[Church]] will fall away. However, Jesus does give us a **conditional** promise: if we [[Persevere]] to the end, we will be [[Save|saved]]. {Matthew 24.12-13}
- This passage seems to speak against the typical modern church philosophy of once-saved-always-saved. {Matthew 24.12-13}
- The definition of "perseveres" includes the idea of " [[Stand|I stand my ground"]]. Like Paul talks about in [[Ephesians_06|Ephesians 6.10-20]], we are commanded to stand fast (different Greek word, but similar idea) {Ephesians 6.10-20}
- The "[[Love]]" ([[G0026]]) in [[Matthew_24|Matthew 24.12]] is the same Greek word as the "love" in [[1_Corinthians_13|1 Corinthians 13]].
