# Which Crowd?
## Lukewarm

- As I was praying, a thought came to me about how I should spend my time and [[Encourage]] my [[Disciple|disciples]] to spend their time.
- What started it was trying to explain (in my mind) how my spiritual emphasis changes over time. For example, right now, I am trying to figure out how to relate to the three parts of the Godhead, [[Father]], [[Son_(NOT_Jesus)]] & [[Holy Spirit]]. As a result, I am spending time in [[Pray|prayer]] with each individually. I suspect, that sometime in the future, that emphasis and view of them will be different and I will relate with them differently. As my disciples hang out with me, they will probably get a taste of what I am experiencing at that period in my life.
- From this line of thinking, I got to thinking about how important it is for us to hang out with people who are pursuing [[God]] with their whole [[Heart]]. From there, [[Revelation_03|Revelation 3.15-16]] came to mind.
- I think, we should spend time with people who are going after God with everything they have and that will help us get “[[Hot]]”. Then we need to spend time with those who are far from God. I could see them as “[[Cold]]”. However, Jesus makes it clear in [[Revelation_03|Revelation 3.15-16]] that He isn’t happy with people who are [[Lukewarm]]. I think those are people who are content with their relationship with God. They think they are near to God and aren’t growing any closer to Him. If we spend time with them, then they may influence us to become lukewarm as well.
- As I write this, I am reminded of my parents talking about running with the wrong crowd. I always assumed they were talking about people who are very far from God. However, it seems more Biblical to think that the crowd I should avoid are those who are lukewarm. It was the “[[Religious]]” people that Jesus had the most trouble with, ultimately killing Him. I think it is reasonable to connect the “religious” people with the lukewarm.
- [[777]] - [[Lord]], help me [[Understand|understand]] this better and [[Train]] my disciples appropriately.
