# Time and the Image of God ## Background - Copied from Journal ## Notes - 2023.06.02 - For some time, I have been working on a different view of the "[[Trinity]]". - See these studies for more info: - [[Know_the_Trinity_Study]] - [[NOJ_Study]] - 2013.07.04 - For more thoughts, see [[y_STUFF_TO_PROCESS/NOTES_TO_PROCESS/2c_NOTES_lots/2013/2013.07.04.0946_Time_Travel_and_the_Image_of_God|Time Travel and the Image of God]] - 2010.05.24 - It says in Genesis that we were made in the [[Image_of_God|image of God]]. The word “[[Image]]” means an actual physical image. So, somehow, in some way, we “look” like God. - Now, here is an interesting thought. Jesus, one-third of the God-head came to earth wrapped in human [[Flesh]]. He lived, died and rose in [[Body|human bodily form]] and was eventually taken to heaven in human bodily form. So, if you consider that [[Time]] does not matter to God, then one-third of God looks / looked like Jesus. Even though, from a human time constrained perspective, man was created “before” Jesus came to earth, from God’s non-time-constrained perspective, Jesus and man look as similar as any other two people on earth look alike. - I know this looks like circular reasoning, but that is only true if time is linear. If it can be warped and bent like many people believe, then why can’t this theory be true? - An example of this from scripture is [[John_08|John 8]]. In **John 8:56**, Jesus said that Abraham saw “His day”, so somehow Abraham saw into the future when Jesus came into power and then in **John 8:58**, Jesus said that He (Jesus) is “I AM” before Abraham came into existence. - It is clear, there is a disconnect between our time perspective and the way God views time. - More important than just knowledge, are the implications of this “[[Truth]]” which escape me at this time. I am sure I will write more about this in the future. - [[777]] - Thank you Lord for revealing this to me! I consider it an answer to my prayer over [[Jeremiah_33|Jeremiah 33.3]]. - I think there is some sort of connection between our false view of our [[Body|bodies]] and the weight problems so many people have.
