# Friend of God ## Notes 2009.01.16 - In the past, I have prayed that God would make me a “friend of God” and I have prayed that He would make me a prophet. So far, neither have been obvious. I came across another phrase while listening to the OT. The big-men (Moses, David, most prophets) of the OT are often referred to as “Man of God”. A quick word study didn’t yield anything conclusive. However, I assume it roughly means “prophet”. - I am convinced that the way to be a 10MinaMan is to get really close to Jesus. Jesus said that He only did what He saw His Father doing. I think He (Jesus) wants us to have the same relationship with Him (Jesus) that He has with His Father. - So, starting on 2009.01.15, I want to spend most of the day talking with Jesus. I want all the conversations in my head to be WITH Jesus instead of with someone else. Hopefully, I can stick with it and hopefully, I will journal the journey. - 777 - Lord, I really want to get tight with you. I assume from your word that you desire the same thing.
