### 2026.06.07 {15}
- In the [[#2011.12.08 {15}]] note below, I state the Jesus redeemed all of creation to include sin and shame. Although I'd like to believe that and hope that it is true, I don't have any Bible verses at my fingertips to prove the point.
- So, until I do have Biblical proof, I won't continue to make that point.
- [[777]] - Lord, please show me one way or another the truth!
### 2011.12.08 {15}
- I drafted this as an email. I think I intended to upload it to a discussion group such as "Naturist Christians", but I am not sure.
- I am copying it here to ensure I don't lose the info.
- I am convinced that there is more to this [[Naked|naked / naturism]] stuff than just a lifestyle.
- Recently, I was studying [[Ephesians_04|Ephesians 4.1-16 ]]and found **verse 15** very interesting.
- For a couple of years I have been using the New English Translation (NET) because it has thousands of translation notes. They explain why they translated a particular passage a certain way. This empowers me to decide if I agree with the NET translation or choose to accept a different one. By the way, the NET Bible is available free online at [net.bible.org](http://net.bible.org/ "http://net.bible.org/").
- In [[Ephesians_04|Ephesians 4.15]], most of the translations say, "speak the [[truth]]". However, the NET chose to translate it as "practice the truth" and they have a lengthy note explaining their logic. In either case, we are to communicate the truth. However, if the NET is accurate, it is not enough to just speak it, we must demonstrate the truth to those around us.
- ?? Is this correct ??
- When Jesus [[Die|died]] on the [[cross]] and rose from the dead, He completely [[Redeem|redeemed]] all of [[creation]]. There is no [[sin]] or [[shame]] that was not redeemed.
- Why are we content to enjoy our "lifestyle" with only a few other people? Shouldn't we be "practicing" the truth everywhere we go? However, I doubt that any of us or even all of us working together can change the laws and culture of our countries.
- On the other hand, I know [[God]] can change the [[Law|laws]] and [[culture]]. I believe God wants us to join together and ask Him to change our culture. Jesus said if we have the [[faith]] of a mustard seed, we can command a mountain into the sea. I don't see the utility in moving a lot of dirt, but I do see a mountain of people writhing in [[body]] shame.
- There is a mountain of body-shame that needs to be thrown into the pit.
- Thoughts ... ??
### 2011.08.13 {12-15}
- In this chapter, Paul talks about:
- equipping of the [[Saint|saints]] for the work of [[ministry]] and to build up the [[Body_of_Christ]] {12}
- until we all reach [[unity]] in the [[faith]] and in the [[knowledge]] of the [[Son_of_God|Son of God]] {13}
- I have many thoughts on this passage.
- I believe the [[Church|church's]] prudery teaching is an example of the crafty teaching that was promoted in the past onto people that don't know God's word. Nowadays, it is an easy sell since it is part of the culture and very few people actually study the bible.
- **Ephesians 4.15** is interesting. Most of the translations say, "speak the truth". However, the NET chose to translate it as "practice the truth" and of course they have a lengthy note explaining their logic. In either case, we are to communicate the truth. However, if the NET is accurate, it is not enough to just speak it, we must demonstrate the truth to those around us. Again, if that is true, then it is not enough to just say that I agree with the [[Body]] [[Freedom]] stuff, I must demonstrate it by living it.
- This appears to be an answer to the question I posed to DavEd last night, "How can a person experience body freedom without social [[Naked|nudity]]?"
- [[777]] - Thank you Lord. Again, you have provided an answer to my question!
- For more of my thoughts on this subject see my [[#2011.12.08 {15}]] note above
