# Matthew 25.31-46 2017.01.15 - Context--The Parable of the Sheep and Goats - We are to: - Feed the hungry - Give drink to those who are thirsty - Clothe those who are naked - Visit those who are in prison - On the surface, each of the four items above seem to be obviously physical needs.  However, each of them could also be spiritual needs.  There are other stories from Jesus that address each of them in the spiritual realm.  Further explanation: - Those who are hungry and thirst after the kingdom, we need to give the spiritual food and drink via the gospel and discipleship - Those who are spiritually naked need to be covered with the blood of Christ - We need to cast out demons from those who are in spiritual bondage. - The application in the spiritual realm is the apostolic push.
