2024.11.18 - John 2.17 says that the disciples remembered Psalm 69.9 when they saw Jesus "cleaning house" at the temple during Passover. - Something just occurred to me - According to the sequence in John, the temple cleansing occurred soon after the miracle in Cana {11-13}. - Although the temple cleansing occurred withing days / weeks of His ministry launch, this was not Jesus' first Passover, nor His first time to see the money changers in the temple - I am guessing, He was boiling with [[zeal]] {[[G2205]]} waiting for the "go" from His Father - If my guess is correct - Jesus demonstrated lots of self-control & patience for nearly three decades - The cleaning was a premeditated action and not a heat-of-the-moment reaction
