# Today is Monday, 2024.05.06 and our 30th wedding anniversary! For the last 30-years, we have done things together: - Together, we have traveled to 6 of the seven continents and done ministry on 5 of them - Together, we drilled a water well for an orphanage in Uganda and as the only woman on the team, my wife served as the cook - Together, we built houses in Mexico - Together, we served kids in Romania who were HIV positive - Together, we traveled to India where we stayed in a zero-star (actually it was closer to a minus-10 star) hotel - Together, we bought a "starter" home that has been in a continuous state of remodel for most of the last 29-years - Together, we bought a 45-foot sail boat, then sold it - Together, we bought a piece of land to build a house, then sold it - Together, we bought a travel business and lost money - Together, we invested in real estate and made a little money - Together, we worked as consultants where our "office" was an elevator shaft. The office was so cramped, we had to coordinate moving our chairs - Together, we rented a car in Germany and drove through numerous countries in Europe and set a personal speed record on the Autobahn - Together, we rented an RV (that should have been condemned) and traveled to Wyoming to see the 2017 eclipse - Together, we bought an RV (and a truck). So far, we have spent 505 nights and traveled 20000 miles visiting churches in 20 states - Together, we have had numerous pets - Chopin a dog I had before we got married - Casey, a dog that came with the house we bought - Bella, a dog that replaced Chopin and Casey - Shama, a dog that replace Bella - Bob, a Tarantula - Bob, a ball python - Together, we survived the pandemic - Together, we survived snow-mageddon - Together, we survived winding roads in Morocco and Colorado - Together, we married off my three kids. Actually, Denise did most of the work for the two daughters! - Together, we made friends with other couples from all walks of life - Together, we have had countless lunches and dinners with other people eating strange ethnic food - Together, we worked through the loss of friends - Together, we worked through the loss of my youngest daughter There are too many "Together, we's" to list them all.
